Why bring your group here?
When you see pictures of Canada and nature, the Rocky Mountains are used 99% of the time.
In the summer we have the best activities, beautiful scenery and the perfect study atmosphere.
In the Winter we have world class skiing/snowboarding and almost every winter sport you can imagine.
We are only around 1 hour from Calgary (Population of over 1 million), but we are surrounded by wildlife, nature, adventure and excitement.

Payment / application deadlines
For Groups, 20% deposit must be received at least 90 days before the start of the program.
Please confirm accommodations as soon as it is possible so we can book the best accommodations for the group.
Banff and Canmore are popular tourist destinations especially in the summer so the earlier the booking the better!
Group Accommodations
We can accept larger groups but Homestay will not be an option for groups of over 20 students in the summer season.
Larger groups usually stay at the Hostel or other group accommodations.
Depending on other scheduled groups, Homestay in the Winter may be possible for larger groups also.
Group Sizes
Usually groups are 10 to 15 students, but larger groups can also be accommodated.
Group Transporation
We can handle transportation for any size group.
Tailored vs. joining a current program
Generally groups follow the Banff Education Centre programs.
This allows for the students to mix with other nationalities and for us to keep the group prices lower.
Scheduling
If the group would like to follow an existing program, please see the schedules on the program pages. For group programs we recom- mend morning lessons for 3 hours each day (15 hours/week) plus afternoon activities.
It is also possible to reduce costs and have less activities and more afternoon lessons.
Special Requirements/requests
At Banff Education Centre we try very hard to offer the most comfortable, exciting, educational and affordable experience possible. Please contact BEC with the information on your group and we can customize a package for your group.
If you would like to have 1 or more teachers/chaperones come together with your group this can also be customized for your group.
