Gondola WebcamThis beautiful view of close by Banff is taken from a webcam on the summit of Sulphur Mountain. The updates every five minutes. Most days are clear but during bad weather, the camera may show a gray or black picture. A visit to the Banff Gondola & Hot Springs is 5 credits. The gondola transports visitors to an elevation of 2,281 meters (7,486 feet) above sea level to the top of Sulphur Mountain where visitors enjoy an unobstructed 360° view of the Canadian Rockies, the most majestic mountains in the world. The Banff Hot Springs are naturally occurring and can be enjoyed throughout the year. Visitors are treated to a view across the valley to Mount Rundle. Climate & Current Weather ConditionsAlberta is the sunniest province in Canada, the low humidity means that clear blue skies can be seen all year round, even on cold winter days. Summers are generally warm with highs of 25° Celsius but winters are quite cold, with the temperatures below freezing most of the season.
