NEW UPGRADED ACTIVITY SYSTEM COMING SOON.
Instead of scheduling activities for the students, Banff Education Centre is currently creating a evolved system where students are able to select from a big list of possible activities, and create small groups for the activities that they like the best. The new system will include video, pictures and more information on all of the activities being offered.
Our Activity Program is still under the cost recovery system, so students can enjoy the area for much less than what they would pay to go through the different companies. We only charge the students enough to cover the cost of the activity program.
In the past, we have made a schedule of activities that we felt students wanted, but we found depending on the group each year the preferences were very different. One year indoor rock climbing is very popular and everyone wants to take the helicopter rides. The next year everyone wants to go to the theatre.
Students arriving while the new system is being created will be able to choose their activities or use their credits on arrival.
